You have been told to build traffic. Learn the platform, do the optimisation, get found. That advice made sense when being found meant being visible. In 2026 it increasingly means being quoted instead, with your name left off. Somebody else gets the customer and you get the work. There is one thing no platform can sit in the middle of, and you can start building it this week without learning anything technical.
